I hope you enjoyed our series on films which contain that “feel good” feeling. Our emotions are important – we need to express them, explore them and sometimes allow them to lead us into action. So long as we’re never controlled by them.
It’s said that the Psalms contain a whole variety of human emotions, from pain and despair to joy and hope – from peace and contentment to conflict and danger. This summer the chaplaincy in Lorgues with Fayence has produced weekly, online, explorations of the Psalms which have been called “Nightcap”. I felt Nightcap was too good to escape a wider circulation. So expect a weekly glance at a particular psalm – perhaps you will find your favourite amongst them.
